Remaining Positive In Times of Hardship.

To be positive – Isn’t that something we all aspire to be and to feel in life? Embracing the sheer joy each moment brings whilst looking forward into the future with extreme excitment. Knowing that tomorrow is going to be better than today and that today is going to be better than yesterday – even though yesterday went extremely well!

However. Positivity isn’t all sunshine and gold, there will be times when you have to walk right into the heart of a storm and face the negativity – but you shouldn’t fear. These times will test you and try to break down your barrier of positive light, but it is in these times where you will need to harness the power of your positive mental attitude more than ever – doing so will provide you with massive growth of self and it will help to calm the extremities of the storm.

Sounds awesome right!

So – how does one go about gaining the power of a ‘Positive Mental Attitude’ and then continue to use the power of positivity without falling back into previous states of negativity?

Firstly you must realise that you do not need to gain a positive mental attitude, it is something that we were all born with – just think back to when you were much younger learning how to walk, you didn’t have negative thoughts like “Oh I am never going to be able to walk. I suck. I’m going to be such a failure!” Instead it seemed like we would just embrace the challenge of learning to walk and have intense amounts of fun and joy whilst doing so – so why as we get older, do we stimulate a sense of negativity when we encounter a challenge in life?

The truth is, there are many reasons behind the negative mental attitudes that many fall into – but that isn’t what we are here to speak about today, so that can be a topic for a later date.

Today I want to share one of my four biggest tips on keeping a tightly regulated positive mental attitude. This one technique is one that I implement into my daily life and have found massive success upon utilising. I hold the strongest faith that if you put this technique into practice then you to, will find massive success and an upsurge of consistent positive energy creating a happier, brighter life experience!

1: The positive mental attitude – even in times of hardship and struggle.

It is easy to feel positive and uplifted when everything is going your way, when life feels as if it couldn’t be any more perfect – but how easy is it for you to feel positive and uplifted when everything seems to be going wrong, when life feels like it is no longer durable?

Chances are, like many others, you find that it’s not that easy to stay positive during times of hardship and struggle. I was there myself at one point and it is a difficult barrier to break through, but hopefully what I am about to say can enlighten you…

You have to realise that being positive has nothing to do with what is going on around you in life – it is simply a deep, harmonious state of mind and ironically enough, when we think about the positives we end up attracting more positives into our life, sparking more positive thoughts.

When we think about the negatives, it works exactly the same. Except when we are thinking negatively, we are in a destructive state of mind. YES – negative thinking can literally destroy your own lifes work which, as you can imagine, creates a vicious cycle of negativity.

Which one do you choose to be? Positive? Or negative?

It isn’t a hard choice to make, which is ultimately all it is – a choice. You either choose to be positive and live in harmony with self, or, you choose to be negative and live at war with yourself.

What to do during times of hardship and struggle:

When you face a hardship, a challenge or a struggle in life you should always remain positive and open about the fact that it isn’t going to last forever. Which is the truth – because nothing lasts forever, not even the stars in our night sky.

I want you to think back, to all of the times when you faced a difficult time in life that you thought may last forever and ruin your life… Go on. I’m sure there have been plenty of times – but are you still there now? No – you moved forward in life and moved on from those difficult times.

It is important to reaffirm that ,in the end, the hardship will pass and that you will be all okay. You can do so by thinking positive thoughts such as; “I may be in pain now but wounds heal and the pain will pass on – allowing me to become stronger” or “I may face a tough challenge but I am faithful that I can conquer this challenge, grow through it and come out victorious!”

The examples could go on but I am hopeful that you have gotten the gist.

It is important to keep hold of your positive mental attitude during tricky times in life because that positive mental attitude will allow the tough time to pass on quicker and it will allow you the potential to grow, learning from the bad times you faced – rather than destroying yourself because of them!

A Message From Myself.

If you are reading this article right now, then you are already well on your way to being able to remain positive during times of hardships. You have a keen interest in upgrading your positive mental attitude, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this – which is a great sign! Just know that I believe in you, you are strong and have infinite power within to help you overcome whatever challenge you face – remember, nothing lasts forever. Remain optimistic about the future and positive in the moment, you are unfuckwithable – ahem, excuse my French. Go out there and shine bright, you are doing amazing!Kae9

Concentrating Emotion For Greater Success!

In a world full of distraction, anxiety and rush, it is becoming harder for us to concentrate our energies to the maximum potential — it becomes harder for us to concentrate our focus.

How many times have you started a task, only to get two minutes in and find yourself on twitter responding to somebody’s comment. Upon realisation you get back to work. Then a further few minutes later, you’re on Instagram responding to a direct message. The cycle continues until you no longer want to perform said task, or at least complete it in the good manner you had intended at the start. If it is a task that you really needed to complete by a certain time, this causes all sorts of problems. You’re going to feel rushed, stressed and anxious, none of which will help you create your best work.

So today I am going to tell you a secret about the power behind Concentrated Energy and how you can use it to help you, if not assist you in creating your best work.

What do I mean when I say concentrated energy?

When I speak about concentrated energy I am essentially saying ‘focused energy’. But beyond that I also mean by concentrated energy: a strong energy that has been brewing over time, and finally gets unleashed in a flurry of beautiful creation.

Energy is simply emotion , energy in motion, everything we do has emotion to it. Once this energy gets concentrated and released with laserbeam focus — you will witness your greatest work.

Imagine a songwriter.

As we all know music artists put a ton of emotion into their work, we can feel it when we listen to it. They concentrate their energies and release it with laserbeam focus when they write, in a flurry of beautiful creation. They get into a zone when they are writing, one that distraction cannot penetrate, allowing them to work diligently whilst keeping focus solemnly on the task at hand

The songs that hit us deepest in the feels, are songs where the individual artist has concentrated his emotions into their work —this is why the song will hit us with feeling.

If that artist kept getting distracted and forced themself into rushing the song, do you think it would have turned out so well? Absolutely not. You can tell when a piece of work is rushed and it will never be completed to its maximum potential.

This is why it is important that we free ourself from distraction, in order to concentrate our energies and create our greatest work.

How does one go about concentrating energies?

Ultimately you, yes you, make the decision to become distracted or not. Sure an outside event may randomly pop up at the worst time, but that is out of your control, just accept that and keep those energy’s for when you get back.

However when you have no uncontrollable outer distractions, the choice is entirely in your hands.

Do you wish to turn off your WiFi connection so that your phone doesn’t ding, enabling you to remain focused? Or do you wish to leave the WiFi on whilst knowing that those notifications will keep you distracted, away from the task at hand?

Decide today, decide now, whether you wish to release all of your undivided attention and energy into your work, or if you wish to keep getting distracted, questioning why your work never seems good enough — the choice is yours!

One final tip.

Some days it may seem as if you get distracted by your own mind, almost as if something is blocking you from keeping the focus on the task you so wish to complete — Don’t stress, nor kick yourself about it, this is natural. Simply walk away from the task and undertake an activity that will relax your mind or take your mind away from the previous task. After a while you’ll suddenly be impulsed to get back to work on the task and you’ll quickly be back in a state of laserbeam focus.

Choose your greatest work. Choose to concentrate those energies and release them in a flurry of beautiful creation!

The Future Of The Amazon…

As many of us should know by now, the Amazon Rainforest has been ablaze in a fury of flames for supposedly the past 16 days now. Hashtags such as; #PrayForAmazonia, #SaveTheAmazon and #AmazonFires have been in the top 5 trending on multiple social media sites, with users passionately sharing their two cents on the matter and raising awareness – I was one of them.

I had floods of different thoughts racing through my head and due to social media, I was being bombarded with pages of different information on the matter – we are in the informational age after all.

I even went as far as tweeting at the Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, stating my concern for the lungs of the planet.

I wasn’t expecting to get a reply to be honest but I did have hope that maybe one of his officials would have responded on his behalf – but I was naive.

Today I did some research.

These wildfires are not uncommon in the Amazons dry season. In fact they happen quite frequently, just not to this extent. According to The Express, a UK newspaper publisher, more than 9,500 fires have scorched the rainforest since last Thursday, 15th August, with that number expected to go up in the coming weeks.

The Numbers: The Amazon Is Home To 3 Million Species! (Image: EPA)

One of the main causes is the illegal act of farmers deliberately starting the fires to deforest land for cattle ranching, accounting to a whopping 80% of the Amazons deforestation rates!

Do you think stricter laws should be governed on those who partake in such catastophic illegal activity?

No. We can’t put ourselves out the picture yet.

Increasing climate change is still playing a drastic part in these events taking place. With increasing levels of toxic greenhouse gases destroying the ozone layer. There are many causes of climate change and I am certain everyone is aware of them by now, but my point still stands. We need to do more with our daily habits to make sure that we keep our carbon footprint as low as we possibly can.

To reduce your level of environmental impact is actually quite simple and certainly not back-breaking. So find out how you can become a part of the beautiful wordwide change down below!

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-fdx1lCsvOG7E57NIxZ9dCMDh5T7SwIig7nR47iaz_M/edit?usp=sharing

The newsletter linked was created by myself, as part of my ongoing Operation Greenspace Environmental Campaign.

“What is the solution to these Amazon fires?” I asked.

Last night I went to sleep pondering on this question: What is the solution to the Amazon Fires? I kept asking it over and over again in my head, as I drifted off into a deep sleep.

Today I met up with a friend as he sent me an email suggesting that we meditate on something together – yes we still use email, don’t judge. It was a nice day and after my repeated question last night, I figured this was the perfect topic.

We went out on a walk and plotted up amongst the nature, in the middle of nowhere. Next to us was a peaceful canal flowing and across that canal, a field of horses. It was magnificently tranquil. We got started, as we both drifted into a meditative state for 20 minutes. The purpose of this was to empty our minds so that we could make space for new solutions and thoughts to enter.

What seemed to be 5 minutes later the timer went off, meaning the 20 minutes was up. Empty minded, we put on the stove and started brewing a cup of a tea.

What I learned from this!

Nature doesn’t need us. It is self sustaining and always finds a balance within its own ecosystems. If humans left it alone it would not only take over the world, but take care of itself just like it has done for the millenniums its existed.

Now, speaking of self sustaining: What comes after a heatwave?

A storm. The heatwave causes hot air to rise which is one of the key ingredients to cause a storm – it’s a law of nature.

So let’s put this into the Amazons situatuon.

All of this heat from the fire is rising up into the atmosphere, which shall cause a storm. In the Amazon they don’t just have storms, rather they have monsoons. A monsoon is just what the Amazon needs right now, as it has the potential rainfall rates to put out infernos of such extent!

Wildfires happen naturally, just never of this size. Which shows it was intentional. But what we must do is keep the upmost faith that the monsoon hits sooner rather than later!

Obviously this doesn’t account for societies environmental stupidity, but it can give us faith for the Amazon. We still need to make sure we are doing what we can to do our bit for the precious environment.

I do have faith for the Amazon. I do believe that this monsoon will soon hit and nature will take its natural path of balance. Maybe, just maybe, those illegally starting the fires will get hit with some karma, making them think twice next time.

None the less, let’s keep spreading awareness and doing what we can for not only the Amazon, but the rest of the vital, life-sustaining eco systems that we have!

Overall, as a collective, we must remain positive and optimistic about the Amazon situation. Negative thinking will not help, only make it worst.

Me and my friend did come to this conclusion together but I simply expressed this in my own words!

Let’s take a stand for the Amazon and start making some positive changes to our damanging environmental habits today!

Even if everyone made just a 5% reduction in their carbon footprints, then that would have a drastic, positive impact on the overall condition of the environment and precious ecosystems that reside within it!

The Tragic State Of Modern Society!

I am going to be brutally honest in this article. Society is in absolute shambles. From enviromental issues to a raising level of ignorance and hatred amongst humans. Not to mention the sheer laziness that plagues the modern world. There are times when I wish to go to war, wiping out all of these types of people – but legally I am not allowed.

I feel strongly that as a collective, we have failed. I am sorry to those who actually have a good heart and do a good job to look after our world and fellow beings, your work is appreciated, but thanks to these useless imbeciles we are all in this together.

I have a multitude of topics I wish to adress in this article so lets get started!

P.S I will apologise for my french in advance!

Ignorance has plagued mankind.

So I was walking through my local town centre, Leicester City. The pavements are wide enough to fit at least two double decker busses on. On one side, shopfronts, on the other, a busy road full of traffic. Despite me walking on the furthest edge of the path, right next to the road, people will walk straight towards me in my path – bare in mind I always do my best to move out of the way to give them some space to pass, it’s just common courtesy. Well so I thought. But no, despite my efforts to allow them some space they still choose to walk straight into me, forcing me to step out into this busy road.

I really do not understand it. This is ignorance and laziness at the highest of levels. They either do not care enough to move, believing that they can part people like Moses could rivers, or they are genuinly that lazy that they can’t take a simple step to the side for one moment.

What if I was someone elderly, would they still move out of the way? NO! I’ve witnessed the same thing happen to those elderly people who genuinly struggle to walk. The sheer levels of disrespect rather pisses me off.

Countless times I have seen families, or groups of friends, walking down these pavements blocking the whole path so people struggle to pass. How fucking hard is it to walk in double file, or just move an inch to the side? Why do they feel the need to block the whole path? It is just sheer ignorance. People act like they own the pavements they walk on.

No one cares about anyone and for that reason no one gets along. It really makes me wonder, how many of these people would see someone bleeding out on the floor, just to walk past and turn a blind eye. It’s absolutely appauling.

People say ignorance is bliss… Wrong. Ignorance just makes you an arsehole and there is nothing cool or trendy about it. Wake the fuck up and start to show some respect for your fellow beings, rather than question why everyone gives you filthy looks – chances are you deserve much more than filthy looks.

Environmental laziness.

Anyone who knows me personally knows that I am all for looking after our environment and natural wonders of the world. So when I see uneductated fucktards throwing litter on the floor, despite there being a bin less than 5 yards away, I get rather triggered. It makes me want to go Hulk mode and SMASH some sense into their peanut sized brains.

The truth about littering is caused by two things;

  • Laziness
  • Lack of education

Not many people know about the effects that littering has on our local economies, wildlife and natural wonders of the world. Who’s fault is this? The schools, the parents, the governments and the individuals.

Back when I was in school, not once did I recieve any lectures about the effects of littering on our environment. However I did recieve lectures about useless information such as, why we shouldn’t be late to class. Fuck that. Teach these kids something valueable. Teach these kids how to look after our environment, teach these kids compassion for other beings, not some useless junk that they are going to disregard by the time they finish school.

I’m not just saying it’s kids that litter, because I’ve saw my fair share of older people doing it aswell. Wait. Aren’t us older generations supposed to be setting a good example for the younger ones?

It’s ridiculous. People are so lazy that they won’t put litter in their pocket for a few moments until they pass a bin. Instead, they just dump it on the floor thinking – someone else will clean this up. Get outta here. It is no ones job to clean up after you. Imagine if people had this view in their own home, “Oh this washing isn’t my job, i’ll just leave it for someone else to do.” It’s fucking crazy. People won’t have this mindset in their own home yet when it comes to the collectives one home, they will treat it like shit.

The government say littering fines are in place yet not ONCE in my life, have I ever saw anyone being handed a fine for littering. Which leaves me with this question – Do the governments even care?

Absolutley not. Just look at the raging fires in the Amazon rainforest. Have you saw any mainstream media coverage of this? Probably not and you know why? If the Amazon gets burned down it gives them the opportunity to start farming on the worlds lungs. The government may act like they care but they don’t. They are happy to sit back in their luxurious nuclear bunkers watching the world go to shit. Shambles, utter shambles.

We need to fix up our acts BIG TIME!

Compassion for other beings; human or animal.

When I was younger I was quite lucky. My mum taught me the importance of showing compassion for the environment and the beings that reside within it. God damn, I couldn’t even stand on a snail if It killed my family. These days I see kids running around crunching snails, being cruel to animal life and it leaves me with one question: what are these parents teaching their kids in their free time? It certainly isn’t compassion.

Whenever I see a little shit being cruel to animal life I want to go and do the same to them, but I can’t, it isn’t my job. But parents nowadays don’t notice these things, instead they brush it off and say “Oh my boy would never do something like that” or “Kids will be kids”. No, you’re absolutely fucking blinded. If you taught your kid the importance of compassion then these things wouldn’t happen.

Let’s take these mental constructs further into the future.

Knife crime is at an all time high. Children, teenages and young adults are dying left right and centre. I can guarantee that all of these involved in knife crimes are those whos parents didn’t teach the importance of compassion. I can guarantee that these same kids, are the ones who would have killed smaller animals with pleasure when they were younger.

I don’t have it in me to kill a snail, let alone stick a knife into someones guts, so these kids must get it from somewhere.

Governments will blame violent video games/movies, but I’ve played violent games my whole life. Not once have I thought about going out to reinact those scenes that I have played on such games. Not once. It really is down to a lack of parenting – which leads me to my next topic…

Parents have kids for all the wrong reasons.

I’ve read numerous stories now, about parents having children just to claim the benefits that come with it. Parents having children whilst not being in the right position to raise a child. I understand mistakes happen, but not this fucking often. It’s more of a trend than a mistake at this point.

Do you know what this causes?

A younger generation who know no love, recieved no love and probably faced a rough childhood full of; abuse, poverty, crime, drugs and heartbreaks as their dad ran away. This leads to a younger generation who get involved in hard crimes, drugs and violence because they know no better.

Now add this factor to the fact that parents simply don’t care what their kids are up to. It’s dangerous and stupid. Why would you have a child if you know you are not in a position to have one?

The worst part is many parents will have their first born, fuck up and decide to have another child in attempt to fix their mistakes but ultimately end up back at square one – only this time they struggle even more, trying to raise two children when they are still in no position to raise one. It just shouts disaster.

At this point, and I’m not joking when I say this, new parents should have to pass a required criteria in order to have a child – that’s how ridiculous this whole matter is getting.

A message to parents!

Overall I can understand that sometimes parents don’t know what their children are up to, but that worries me deep down. When I was a child my mum would always be on the phone asking; where I am, who I am with, where am I going. It doesn’t take long to make a simple check up on your children, so please. I urge that every parent takes time to speak to their children about these things and makes sure that your child isn’t causing trouble – especially in this era of increasing knife crimes.

Conclusion.

All in all I believe that society, as a whole, has a lot to work on. I am not putting the blame on any single individual, I am simply raising awareness about the plague of society.

All of these toxic traits make it very hard for humanity to grow as a whole. They make it near impossible for some form on union to be sparked across the globe and union is something that society needs most.

We need to be able to help each other grow, help others in need, because let’s be honest with ourselves. We have all been in a position of needing help at some point or another. Sure, we might not have recieved that help but that doesn’t mean we can’t help others – it wasn’t their fault that we didn’t recieve such help when we needed most.

As human beings we should be kind, caring and compassionate to one another. It would not only make the world go by a lot smoother but it would also lead to a reduction in crime, environmental matters and our overall states of being.

So instead of walking the streets showing ignorance to everyone, walk the street and show respect towards other beings – only that way can we recieve the respect the we wish to be treated with.

Yes, there will still be numpties that think it is cool to bump check you as they walk past. Yes, there will still be numpties having children for all the wrong reasons. Yes, their will still be bad parenting and yes, there will still be lazy people that litter.

But we need not stoop down to their levels. Rather we should try to uplift them however we can. Whether that be; sending a prayer their way, raising awareness of societies issues or just giving them a smile as you swagger on past. The majority of these issues are caused by a lack of love, so don’t be scared to show some love and respect for your fellow beings – you don’t know how much they might need it.

My final words.

I did have a lot more topics to cover on this matter but I decided not to for 2 reasons.

One being that this article could easily have surpassed 3,000 words and I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t sit through such a long article myself, so I couldn’t expect anyone else to.

Two, I don’t like to be Mr. Negative. I like to radiate good feeling vibes to all of my viewers but after my trip around town today, seeing all of these issues first hand, I just had to write something about the experience. I needed to get it all off of my chest.

Please, do not feel targeted by any of this. Simply take notes and remain aware of your own habits and traits of self. If something in this article triggered you then chances are that you are reading about a negative trait that you see in yourself – remain mindful of your triggers and what they say about yourself.

I wish to see society rise into union and respect. I hate being a part of a society that knows only of; ignorance, hatred and laziness. I wish for everyone to rise up and live their greatest life experience.

So let’s start now. Go out there and be the person that you wish you could find in others.

In order to change society we have to change ourselves and our own habits, only then can society follow by example.

If you wish to see more content like this then please be sure to let me know. I have a ton of other related topics that I could cover, but chose not to at this specific moment in time.

How To Remain Positive At A Job You Hate!

Many people have mastered the art of being positive, so they thought anyway. They’ll get into their corporate day job tomorrow and all laws of positivity will fly out of the window, with their mindset quickly turning to one of hatred and negativity.

I see it daily if I am to walk the streets at rush hour, when the majority of people are headed home from work for the day. Faces like a sheeps arse, big moods and sheer impatience. I see it on the roads also, impatient drivers in a rage, all in such a hurry to return home from the job they hate.

I can understand it, having worked corporate jobs myself. I hated every minute spent at such job; mouthy customers, stressful bosses, unfulfilling work and incompetent collegues. But you know what, the moment that I walked out of those doors for the day my whole mood would ascend so fast. Almost instantly upon hitting the fresh air, my frown would turn to a huge smile and my overall mood would feel uplifted.

The majority of people aren’t in a rush to get home from work, they are in a rush to get away from a part of their life that they hate!

Unless you are one of the lucky ones who happens to absolutely love the day job you work, then remaining positive at work is a problem that many people struggle with. I don’t blame them. We all have dreams and desired job roles that could bring us fulfilment, but getting there is alot harder than picking up a job at your local resturant.

Now, because we all need the means to survive we end up feeling forced to work a job that we dislike – it is societies norm. We end up feeling trapped at such job due to responsibilities outside of work, such as; paying rent, feeding ourself, gas and electric, water bills etc.

This leads up to highly negative thinking and it also has the power to stunt our own growth outside of work – which is not healthy. Many people are literally destroying themselves for a job that would replace them in seconds if they were to quit – wheres the humanity in that?

Remaining positive at work is not as easy task to achieve, especially if we deal with highly negative energies throughout the day. So I have decided to share my top tips on: How to remain positive at a job you hate.

1. Gratitude – Realise what this job actually brings to the table for you!

Why do you work this job in the first place? Does it bring you the income to pay for your food and your rent? Does it pay for your awesome holiday to Barcelona, Spain?

By looking at what it is that our job brings to the table, we end up swithing our mindset to one of appreciation – a by-product of a positive mindset.

Let’s be honest we all love the money. Money is what motivates the majority of society to stick at their day job, so why not spend your time focusing on that positive of work?

Sure you may hate the job with all your heart, but do you really hate the money that it brings you? Do you really hate the food that it puts on your table? Do you really hate that holiday that it brought you? Probably not. So focus on what good this job does bring to your life, get those appreciation gears working and you shall quickly see a shift in your mindset.

2. Optimism – Realise that you aren’t stuck there forever!

Yes, it’s true. You won’t remain at this job for the rest of your life – unless you allow yourself to be that is.

Many jobs lead us down a career path going through different job roles in the company until you reach a senior role. Many jobs help us to aquire the funds to start working on our dream job. Whatever your plans for the future, they don’t involve flipping burgers at McDs right?

We all have aspirations and these corporate jobs can actually help us to get their in a few ways; maybe they provide funds, maybe it provides motivation to chase our dreams so we aren’t stuck here forever. Whatever it is, focus on it and keep working on it.

Keep your mindset focused on the optimistic future. Remind yourself what you are working toward in the long run and remind yourself about how this job can help you get there.

Sure, we have to remain focused on the task at work but whenever we get a free moment, take the time to think about where we are heading towards. Take time to think about that dream job finally taking off. Think about the day that you are in a financially secure position to hand in your notice.

I often say that we shouldn’t focus on the future because it is not yet real, but in times of the dayrate, these optimistic thoughts can be what makes the difference between a positive mindset and a highly negative mindset.

Please note. You should be trying your hardest to work towards your aspirations outside of work and that becomes ridiculously hard when we return home in a negative mindset. So to be able to hold this positive, optimistic mindset you can return home happy, ready to get to work on your aspirations – knowing it will lead you away from this job that you can no longer stand.

3. Perspective – Realise that you are in control of the situation.

No matter how hard the day gets, you are always the one in control of your own thoughts – not the customer behind the counter or your stressful boss. They can only influence your mindset, you are the one that owns it.

All work is stressful, even those who are living their dreams will have had stressful days – they just didn’t let that stress demotivate them or govern their day.

Let’s face it, if one tiny thing goes wrong at work it can affect your mood for the whole day. Why? Let it go, move on and work to make the rest of the day better.

Why let that one thing eat away at you, spoiling your mood for the rest of the day? If you made a mistake, learn from it, don’t hold onto it. If a customer spoke to you like crap, let it go, don’t hold onto it.

It is common for us to hold onto negatives that happened, so much so that we will go home and start complaining about all the negatives to our close ones. Just let it go. Take the positives out of the day. Maybe you got employee of the month, maybe you did more work than ever before today, maybe they verified your holiday dates, whatever it is hold onto the positives.

There is always a positive side for us to look at and reflect on, it is just up to us to percieve the goodness whilst letting go of the darkness.

By focusing on the more positive aspects of your day, you guessed it, you are setting yourself up to a more positive overall mindset. Perception is key, are you focused on the good, or the bad? Your call.

4. Disconnect – Leave work behind for the night.

How many times have you got home for the night, only to spend your night complaining about work? Are they paying you any extra for this dedication you are showing to this job you hate? No. So why waste your time?

When you leave those doors for the day, leave all the troubles and stress behind with you. Don’t carry it around like a burden in your backpack, otherwise you’ll end up resenting your job even more.

We all need quality time to disconnect from our day job. Whether that time is used to relax or work on our aspirations it doesn’t matter, just take the time to get your mind off the day job.

If it brings you unhappiness then why would you want to spend your valuable time thinking about it? What good is that serving you? None at all, it only makes matters worse.

By leaving the burdens behind at work you can spent the evening focusing on that of which brings joy into your life, which ultimately brings you a more positive mindset – knowing that when you walk out of those doors you are headed towards happiness.

Let’s be honest, does your partner really appreciate your moody complaints about work after they’ve had a long day at work themselves? Probably not, save yourself and save your relationship – work isn’t worth your state of being.

By having that time after work to disconnect and fulfil a joyous task, it gives us something to remain optimistic about throughout the day – which we touched on earlier on in this article. You see, it all fits together like a jigsaw piece.

Conclusion.

It isn’t easy, I know. Working a day job in general just sucks, I couldn’t agree anymore. However our overall state of happiness is within our own hands. If you are constantly complaining about your job then how do you expect it to get better?

Focus on what good it brings, showing gratitude for the blessings it provides. Remain optimistic about your future, knowing that you won’t be stuck here forever. Switch your perspective, start taking the positives out of the day rather then the negatives – you are in control of that situation. Take quality time to disconnect and partake in things that bring you joyous satisfaction.

If you do all of the above then you should start to see a rapid increase in positive energies. You may even find that work isn’t as much of a shitstorm to deal with anymore all thanks to your new and improved mindset.

Just because everyone else decides to be highly negative doesn’t mean that you have to follow the herd. Keep your mindset positive and watch your collegues wonder how on earth you do it!

Do you struggle to keep a positive mindset at work?

I understand that a lot more can go into our overall mindset when it comes to working day jobs. However in this specific article I wanted to go over the very core basics to start with.

In the future there is a possibility that I will make another article outlining other aspects of work that can bring upon negativity and how we can overcome such negativity, returning to our natural, positive state of being. So be sure to keep your eyes out for that one!

What Is The Truth Of Life?

Everyone has their own perceptions on what they believe to be true, so how could we ever know what is truly true in life?

This question always appears to linger on my mind in the deepest hours of the night and the truth is, who really knows what the truth is? More so, can we even trust a being who thinks they know what the exact truth is?

Modern society is full of many religous beliefs and different philosophies, all of which tie in with one another, but ultimately lead you to a paradox – sending you back to a state of utter confusion.

Myself, I am quite the spiritual being despite not believing in religion. If you were to ask me how the earth got created, pfftt, I would not have a clue. I do believe in something much greater than I, but I also believe that I may never be able to fully comprehend what it is. I do believe in the law of attraction and that we attract what we put out, it seems to work in harmony with karma. I also believe that I am divenly guided in life and that everything happens for a greater reason, despite the possibility of it being uncomprehendable to me in that specific moment of time.

However, I can mention this to some people and they’ll reply with; “What, are you insnane? No no no. That isn’t true, this is the truth!” and they will go on to explain their own belief system.

So what is truly true?

I did some digging!

For a while I observed the many kinds of people speaking about their different beliefs and what they thought to be true. It was so admireable to watch them speak with such passion about their beliefs but I had one question:

What do these beliefs bring to the individual who bares them?

I started noticing a reoccuring pattern. These beliefs, no matter how different, all brought the individual a sense of life, a sense of being and a sense of passion, that will keep them pushing forwards in life no matter how hard it gets – it touched my heart actually.

Despite the many differences that occur throughout this vast expansion of beliefs and philosophies, they all held one major thing in common – Faith.

Faith, it is truly beautiful. Faith gives people hope, hope that something greater lies ahead. Faith keeps people going through the worst of the worst and sometimes, faith is so powerful that it can transform ones entire life.

Personally, I cannot blame people for wanting something to have faith in. For wanting something greater to look up to that can keep them going through tough times. What’s so wrong with that?

Why do these beliefs clash with each other?

Often those who have different beliefs can end up clashing. Myself, I disagree with that. These things should be spoke about with respect, remaining mindful of the others beliefs. If an individual was to get aggressive about such matters then I would put it down to their ego and lack of understanding.

It is common for our brain to instinctively attack those that put a spanner in our belief system, this is why remaining mindful and respectful about these differed beliefs is important.

At the end of the day, no one knows for certain if my belief is true and no one knows for certain that your belief is true – take it with a pinch of salt.

Why beliefs are nothing but perception!

I didn’t believe in anything up until I was about sixteen years old. This is when I had my spiritual awakening. Everything that reigned true in my life at that point in time, all lead back to this awakening – like jigsaw pieces being put together. The awakening happened at my lowest point in life and ever since, I have been on a spiritual journey which has lead me from bad things to greater things. It has helped me learn lessons about myself, it has allowed me to grow aswell as many other things on top of that.

This all came from my perception, something that I believed to be true. Something that put faith inside of me then and hasn’t died since. This is probably the very same way that many others found their true beliefs, remaining strong with them.

We believe what we perceive to be true in our own life experiences, as does everyone else – even those who don’t believe.

So what is truly true in life?

Life itself, is truly true. Or is it?

You see, no one will ever know for certain what is truly true in life. Ultimately it is up to you to find your own truth in life and go with it. Pay respect to others beliefs and stay humble with your own, you may never know what those beliefs have done for other people.

All in all beliefs are nothing but perception, what you believe to be true will reign true for you.

I shall leave you with one thing that is certainly true in life…

Love, laugh and live!

Boost Your Happiness In As Little As 15 Minutes!

Have you ever wished that there was a quick and easy life hack for achieveing happiness, even in the toughest of times?

Well now you can rejoice for I have found that ever so useful life hack and I shall be revealing it for all to see right now, so grab that coffee and let’s turn those frowns, upside down!

What makes you happy?

Happy is the end goal right? So this is exactly where you should start. Identify what it is that makes you happy, maybe it is; playing some football, writing a chapter in your book, reading a chapter of your book, cooking a tasty meal? The list of happiness enducing activites is endless.

By recognising what it is that makes us happy, we can start looking at why they make us happy. Then we can start looking at ways to incorporate these activities into our daily life, making for more smiles and less sorrows.

Why do these activities make you happy?

We all have certain activites that we can partake in, bringing us an abundance of mindful, emotional benefits. Most likely these activites act as an emotional release, allowing us to let go of the life sucking, negative energy that we may have collected up over the course of the day – which happens, we can only accept that, but what we can’t accept is holding onto those negative energies like they govern our life.

For me skateboarding would be that activity if I am frustrated, as I can go skate down a huge hill and rid some of that frustration. If I am feeling a little upset then I will write, simply venting my emotions out onto the page. Both of these activites provide me with a state of mindfulness, they help me become more calm and collected, ultimately boosting my state of happiness.

It is important that we figure out the ‘why’ as it will help us know when we should take time to perform each activity, for each activity may have a different benefit. For example: if I am angry, then writing wouldn’t be as good of a choice as skateboarding because being inside when I am angry doesn’t help to calm me down, in fact it only gets me more angry. So trying to take on that task when I am angry would not be a wise choice on my behalf – we should always be aware of the ‘why’ and remain mindful about the benefits of each activity.

How can you use these activities to obtain happiness?

Now that you know what it is that makes you happy and why it makes you happy, you can start focusing on how you are going to add this activity into your current schedule – even if it is for as little as 15 minutes each day, it will make the biggest difference on your overall state of happiness.

Maybe you know that the liklihood of you getting home from work in a foul mood is high, this would be the perfect time to schedule in some time to partake in your activity of choice. Maybe you wish to write about your incompetent work collegue or your stressful day at work, whatever it is, DO IT! Don’t allow yourself to go home carrying the weight of work on your shoulders, you aren’t getting paid to do that. Rather go home and take some quality time to partake in an activity that you enjoy, that will boost your state of being. Taking some ‘you’ time to fulfil an activity that you enjoy, in order to boost your state of being, is a strong form of self care and self love.

Try to add as many slots into your schedule to fulfil some of these activities. The more time you spend partaking, the more time you’ll remain in this state of happiness.

In conclusion.

Performing these activities of ours will provide us with extra mental clarity, a sense of fulfilment and ultimately a greater sense of happiness. As the title says, just 15 minutes of your time spent fulfiling one of these activities can bring you back into a state of happiness – a state that has the power to stick around for a little while.

15 minutes to boost your levels of happiness? What are you waiting for? Figure out your what, why and how, then get to smiling!

Bust some whacky dance moves, design that meme about your boss, go play some footy with the boys – just get those joyous energies flowing through you again!

What activities do you partake in to boost your levels of happiness? Let me know in the comments below, I would love to hear some stories!

Why ADHD’ers Struggle To Flourish!

You can’t expect to find growth and flourish whilst contained within a toxic enviroment.

Dealing with ADHD is far from easy, especially if you are stuck in an enviroment that doesn’t nurture, nor stimulate, your mental growth.

Being in a toxic enviroment, full of hatred and negativity, can be very destructive to your overall mental wellbeing — I have been there myself and my outer enviroment had the worst knock on effects to my own inner enviroment. Lots of time went by without me realising the reasoning behind my deteriorating mental state, blaming myself for everything that was going wrong. After so long I decided that it was time for a change, time to figure out what exactly was going wrong.

To start with I accepted that this was in fact, a real problem that I am dealing with and now that I had acknowleged that this was a problem, I could start focusing on what I was going to do to overcome it. For me personally at this stage, the next step was focusing on what was bringing me negative experiences? What was bringing me these negative vibes that were slowly eating away at my mental state? Ultimately, what was burning me down rather than lifting me up?

Almost as soon as I started asking myself these questions, the answers came swarming to me from almost every single direction! It was right there in front of me, standing clear as day. I didn’t fully pick up on it for a good couple of weeks, thinking maybe it was just coincidental. But as the weeks went on, the more clarity I gained about the reasoning behind why my mental health was deteriorating.

Allow me to explain:

I realised that the majority of the people I surrounded myself with at the time, were very negative, low energy individuals. They didn’t have good intentions for anyone other than themselves and even then, it didn’t really seem like they had the best intentions for themselves. They were constantly getting themselves into petty drama and because I was there with them, that meant that it in the long run, I would end up involved. On top of this, they were not the greatest of friends anyway.

One would belittle me because I wasn’t doing what he was doing and sleeping with all of the girls under the sun. Almost everyday I got belittled in some way, all because I was choosing to work on myself, rather than trying to get sex! The other, was going out with a girl who constantly; lied, cheated on him, caused arguments, played him about, had no good intentions for the two of them. He used to sit there taking all of his relationships frustration out on me. That was after the countless nights I would sit there listening to his problems, giving him any advice I could whilst draining my own energies.

All of these bad energies that were going on around me, really affected my mental state for the worse.

Energy is a vibration. So the energies from toxic people set off a vibrational pulse, that passes those vibes onto you!

This is especially common in those who live with adhd. This is due to our heightened sense of emotion, we tend to be empathic. You may have noticed by now that the moods of those who are around us can often alter and affect our own current moods? Well, that is a prime example of how easily energies can pass on from one to another. So this next step is quite obvious, but it is definitely a crucial stepping stone that you will need to take on your journey towards bettering your mental health!

Cut out all of the negative influences in your life, it’s hard to grow when you’re stuck in a toxic environment. Instead, surround yourself with positive energies that come from the heart of a good person. It becomes so much easier to grow when you are in an environment that is full of love and positive vibes!

I’m not going to sugar coat it, this step can be really difficult to take because sometimes, those negative influences are the only influences you have in life. But that’s perfectly okay. Sometimes you have to gradually remove them over time and replace them with better, more suiting influences or mindsets. Definitely, don’t be afraid to go at life like a lone wolf either. You will always meet new people and make new friends. During this alone time it is suggested to self reflect, work on loving yourself and spending time bettering yourself!

“Positive vibes from positive people grow positive energy, leading to positive situations” — Kae9

I can safely say to you now that, ever since I removed all of the negative influences from my life, my mental state and overall life experience have increased dramatically. I feel like I am no longer stagnant on this journey, no longer stuck in one spot struggling to level up. The friends that I have around me now, are more like family than anything. There is no more drama, no more talking behind backs, no more of that fake stuff people like to pull off these days and it feels amazing. To finally feel like I can actually live my own live, rather than a life that someone else wants me to live. To finally have positive influences support me on whatever journey I decide to take!

So I know that, you too. Can feel that exact same feeling of joy, once you have cut out the negative sources of energy!

Here’s a common scenario, that I came across myself whilst taking this step!

Sometimes, your closest of family members can be the biggest negative impact on your life. What do you do then? It’s not like you can just cut family out with the click of a thumb. Well, you can… But I would not recommend doing that unless conditions at home are physically no longer liveable.

I do have a few tips, that I have used myself when dealing with toxic family members;

  • Speak to the family member that you feel is being toxic.

Express your feelings, truthfully and genuinely. Most of the time they might not even realise that their actions are causing you a high level of distress and negative energy. And that is not their fault. You would be surprised at how far something as simple as communication can go!

I had to go through this step with my mum, I had to fully open up and let her know exactly how I was feeling. This wasn’t easy and opening up about something never is. You just have to remember that the rockiest roads, lead to the most beautiful destinations!

  • Speak to another family member.

If step one doesn’t work, or you really feel like you cannot speak out. Then the next best thing to do would be to speak to another family member, let them know that you feel person X is being toxic and causing you distress. They can help you speak to person X or even speak to X for you. From personal experience I feel that directly conversing with your toxic family member has a much better success rate. It will also benefit you in the long run, as it shows that you have the courage to stand up and face your problems! But like I say, you have to take things at your own pace and this step will still work wonders, compared to if you never spoke up at all!

  • Distance yourself.

Now. If neither step one or step two didn’t go to plan, then I don’t know what to say. You really are dealing with a toxic one who obviously doesn’t care about how you feel. It’s a real harsh scenario, but I have been through it myself. And my best bit of advice I could give you if this happens, is to distance yourself away from person X. Try to spend more time away from them and limit how often you communicate with them. This can be extremely hard to do, if all you wish is for them to notice you. Usually, they will notice the distance and they will contact you asking “why?”, giving you a perfect chance to speak up. And if they don’t contact you, don’t stress. It’s clear where you stand. You just have to be thankful that you found out sooner rather than later, as hard as it is!

You have the strength to stand courageous and victorious!

Embracing ADHD: A Transformational Journey.

Are you fed up of feeling unmotivated because your ADHD is holding you back from achieving your goals? Maybe you’re fed up of being at war with your own mind all day, everyday? Maybe you’re just interested in finding out more about your ADHD?

Don’t worry I was once there myself. My entire life felt governed by this damned curse that we only know as ADHD. Everyday was a constant struggle, fighting myself and those closest to me, not knowing what was going on inside of my mind. That was until one day, I faced the edge of no return…

Just like you can, I managed to turn it all around. I managed to find firm footing and start to take control of my own life. I managed to leave the negatives behind, stepping into greater light where I could not only face my problems, but overcome them. I learned to utilise those previously negative traits of my ADHD, turning them into valuable assets when it came to not only my success, but living my best life.

I decided to pass on all of these tips, that took me 5 years worth of hard fought battles to find, so that you don’t have to do the digging yourself and learn the hard way.

If you are ready to finally win that war, taking back control of your mind for a greater quality of life, then be sure to download my E-Book at the link down below.

Does This Hold You Back From Happiness?

For a while now I’ve rode down the street in torrential rain wondering why everyone looks so sad, walking head down eying up the wet floor, completely dry underneath their umbrellas.

Meanwhile I was out there in that same torrential rain on a mountain bike, soaked through to the skin, yet I still had a huge smile on my face. It baffled me, these people were much dryer than me yet remained in misery.

The weather is uncontrollable, yet it gets granted the ability to ruin a billion days.

Think about it, how many times has the weather completely ruined your day and ultimately your mood? Then think of how often that happens on a global level, the numbers would be ridiculous. My question is this:

Why would you allow the weather to ruin your day?

So you get a bit wet on the way to work, will you not get dry whilst you are at work? Why would you let that little bit of water ruin your entire mood for the day? I’ll admit, it happens to alot of people. It’s happened to me. But I soon learned; I started embracing the rain fall, knowing that I will be dry again, I started to love the rain and the feeling of refreshment it brings.

How often have you longed for some rain on a really hot summers day, in need of refreshment because the air is too muggy? I know I have and it’s for that reason that I will always make the most of the rain when it does fall.

It’s like the transition from Summer to Winter. It’s too cold in the Winter and we long for the Summer, but when Summer comes around it’s too hot and we crave for the Winter – we are never happy with what we’ve with got because we never truly appreciate it.

How idiotic does it seem to wish for one thing that you’ve not got, only to complain when it finally comes around? This bad habit of complaining is actually really devastating when it comes to our overall levels of happiness in life.

Let’s face it, in this day and age the majority of people let one uncontrollable circumstance govern their entire mood for the rest of the day. One little uncontrollable slip up and they loose their marbles, falling into a state of negativity. Yet not many people have the power to quickly turn themselves back to a state of positivity, so this causes problems.

Energies are contagious. If you turn up to the office all grumpy and miserable because you got a little damp on the way, then chances are that one of your collegues will take upon these energies within the next half an hour or so. It creates a chain reaction and before you know it everyone is heading home miserable.

All of that. Just because of a little rainfall.

So what do I suggest we do?

Ideally I want to say that we should forget that it even exists, but we still need some sense of what to expect however we should see it as ‘it is what it is’. This way we acknowledge that it is out of our hands, uncontrollable. We can accept it and start to embrace it, whether that be hot, cold, damp or breezy. They are all elements of life and are all sustainable to our growth as an entire ecosystem – there, that doesn’t make it sound so bad right.

Preparation is also key, don’t give yourself a reason to complain. If you look at the forecast and see that there is a chance of snow, take an extra jacket and some gloves with you just incanse. That way if snow is to fall, you can’t complain that you are too cold because you’ve got those extra layers – smart thinking.

Don’t let the weather be the governer of your daily mood, you can’t control everything.

All in all I believe that the weather is a deep cause of most peoples unhappiness. Maybe not in a sense we are all consciously aware of, but in a subconscious sense. It makes way for negative thinking. Complaint usually leads to frustration, stress and all other products of negativity, which ultimately affects our greater life.

If more people were to forget about the weather and simply allow it to take it’s course, embracing it as it is, then I believe society we feel a lot more uplifted as a collective.

Will you remain unhappy because of something you will never control, or will you embrace the things that you can control – taking charge, showing the weather who’s boss around here?

This topic has been on my mind for a while now and I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Do you believe that people give the weather to much control over their happiness? Let me know down below.

Finding Your Purpose.

What does it truly mean to exist in this world? What is the meaning behind our lives, what is the purpose that we were born to fulfill?

I’m certain these are questions we have all asked ourselves in the deep of the night — some maybe even prayed for the answers. However, hoping to magically recieve these answers from a source outside of self, will only leave us lost, confused and forever in question. Rather we must dive deep within ourselves in order to gain further understanding of one’s true self.

What do I mean by one’s true self?

By one’s true self I am talking about a singular, unique being — original to one’s self. I am talking about a being who is aware of what makes one happy in life — so one undertakes the role of living in one’s own happiness. One that is aware that life is in one’s hands, and no one else’s.

Our truest self lies deep within and knows for certain only of a few things;

  • Happiness
  • Harmony
  • Love
  • Fulfilment

What is it that brings you these four elements of emotion?

Take a deep look within you. What makes your soul jump in excitement with joy? What makes your heart pump full of passion and love? What brings peace and clarity to your mind? In other words , what is it that truly makes you happy? What is it that you could see yourself doing happily everyday for the rest of your life?

Don’t get sarcastic here either and say “I could lay in bed eating ice cream for the rest of my life and be forever happy” — I think everyone would love and be happy to do that forever. It is important to think realistically about this question , for whatever it is that you choose will still have to provide you with the bare necessities — such as your house, your bills etc.

For me, it would be getting paid to travel the world, writing and video logging my experiences. Spreading positive vibes whilst doing so and creating products that can provide people with the deep, positive values of life. Everything I mentioned here provides me with the values that I mentioned before — Harmony, happiness, love and fulfilment.

Which leads me to the purpose, to the meaning of one’s life.

Ultimately, I cannot tell you the purpose to your own life. I can only guide you based on my own perceptions and experiences. What I can say however, is that the purpose lies within your truest self.

So dive deep, figure out what it is that brings you your own unique meaning, a unique purpose to life and embrace it whole heartedly!

Do What Works For You!

Yes, do what works for you. If it is working for you now, then chances are it will keep on working for you in the long run.

It is very common to see posts on social media that state; ‘this is the million dollar routine’ or ‘this is the routine you need for success’ – poppycox. In my experience switching routines just held further consequence in the long run, way after I realised that these ‘million dollar routines’ didn’t work for me.

Naturally I prefer the later hours of the night and I have done since I was much younger. I am diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder) so I have a pretty hectic mind. Yet come nightfall, when the neighbourhood falls silent, I gain more peace of mind and am able to think with clarity. Not to mention that there are almost no distractions when everyone is fast asleep in theta state. I can work freely and allow my hyper focus to take over, allowing me to write these articles as my heart desires.

The majority of these million dollar routines require you to be awake at 5am in the morning, which naturally isn’t right for me, it doesn’t fit my lifestyle. Why would I want to provide myself with work threatening distractions, limiting my overall work rate and state of mind? That’s like pissing on my own birthday cake, it’s ludicrous.

So what do I think to these ‘must do’ routines?

Firstly I want to say that if these million dollar routines are working for you then that’s totally fine, but to expect this same routine to work for everyone else – that’s foolish. We are all born unique and have our own paths of least resistance to walk down.

Whilst one finds happiness amongst the daylight, another finds harmony amongst the silence of night.

All in all I feel it is important to keep doing what works for you. If you are feeling a switch then by all means try it but I wouldn’t expect miraculous results, not to begin with at least. It is possible you can adapt to it but for me, it was a no go.

If you get your best work done later in the night, keep at it. If you get your best work done early in the morning, keep at it. If you get your best work done in the middle of a jungle, keep at it. All I’m trying to say is keep at what works best for you. Don’t compare your routine to theirs. Just because their routine brought them success doesn’t mean your routine won’t bring you success – don’t fall into the trap like I did.

Maybe you were thinking of switching to a million dollar routine, or maybe you were just curious about it. Either way I hope I provided some value in this short article.

What are your thoughts on the million dollar routine? Let me know in the comments below.
